I was born in Wales, where I now live. I have a PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialising in explanation facilities for intelligent systems, although I graduated in Pure Mathematics. I am a recently retired university lecturer in AI and worked at London South Bank University (LSBU) for 25 years.
I have written several books in the field of computing and expert systems and continue to take an avid interest particularly in AI, machine learning, robotics, and mathematics. I also presented several conference papers, and had many journal papers published that were related to AI.
I also offer consultancy in AI and continue to publish in this subject area.
