Alison Maitland is an international author and speaker specializing in leadership, diversity, and the new world of work. A former long-serving journalist with the Financial Times, she is co-author of the books Future Work (2011) and Why Women Mean Business (2008). She is a Senior Fellow in Human Capital at The Conference Board, the business membership and research organization, and directs the Board’s Europe-based Council for Diversity in Business. She is a Senior Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, London. In 2012, she received a “World of Difference 100 Award” from The International Alliance for Women.
