Henry Chesbrough is Faculty Director of the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He also holds a position at Esade Business School in Ramon Llul University in Spain. He is a scholar of managing technology and innovation, and best known as the father of Open Innovation. Previously he was an assistant professor at Harvard Business School, and before that a product manager and later Vice President of Marketing at Quantum Corporation, a manufacturer of hard disk drives. He holds a BA from Yale University, an MBA from Stanford University, and a PhD from the University of California-Berkeley.
