Freelance innovation proposal writer, Lidia holds a PhD in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry by Complutense University of Madrid. During her graduate student years she dedicated her time to study protein folding from a physical-chemistry perspective using the Monte Carlo and Parallel Tempering computational techniques. After graduating, she moved to New York City to carry out a postdoc at The City College of New York. Her research there focused on protein-membrane interactions, also from a physical-chemistry point of view, this time using Molecular Dynamics as a computational tool. Nowadays, Lidia is invests her time in scientific writing, both technical texts and for a broader audience.
