Huma Shah is a Research Fellow in the School of Computing, Electronics, and Mathematics at Coventry University, UK. She has a PhD in “Deception-Detection and Machine Intelligence in Practical Turing Tests” from Reading University, UK. She is lead or coauthor of over thirty-five peer-reviewed publications, and with Kevin Warwick authored the book Turing’s Imitation Game: Conversations with the Unknown, published by Cambridge University Press. She is a member of the Alan Turing Centenary Advisory Committee and was active in raising awareness of Turing’s work and organizing events for his centenary year in 2012.
